Wilma Jean Kilpatrick Dunker's Obituary
Wilma Jean Kilpatrick Dunker went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2020.
Wilma was born in Honey Grove, TX. on August 28, 1932 to William Bailey Kilpatrick and Louise Elizabeth Grimes Kilpatrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepson Michael Lee Dunker (Pat Dunker-Morrison), stepdaughter Dianna Lynn Landenberger.
Left to mourn her are her sister, Betty Thomas, Garland, TX. and her children Mike Shain and Kim Pierce (Phillip). Her son, Ricky Lyle Baker (Penny) Richardson, TX. and his children Mary Jean Baker Witcher (Brewer), Erick Dewey Baker (Liz Welch), Jennie Lenora Baker (Matt Laman). Her stepdaughter Sandi Narramore Bentley (Richard) Allen, TX. and her son Gregory Scott Narramore; grandchildren Johnny Dunker, Tricia Dunker Ludlam (Paul), Christine Dunker-Bruce (Brent), Tammi Renee Sanders, Toni Pope, Tommy Landenberger (Anne). Great grandchildren are Alexis Ludlam, Caitlyn Ludlam, Brittany Bruce, Carrie Bruce, Gina Darr, Zachary Darr, Tyler Pope, Chelsea Lane, Ariel Russell, Alexa Landenberger, Gavin Landenberger, Aiden Landenberger. Great-great grandchildren are Kamryn Free, Branson Free, Halle Darr, Gracie Hamilton, Aurora Russell. Several nieces and nephews also survive and a special friend Karen Vaughan and her children Lisa and Angel (James).
Her Father passed away at age 3 and she and her Mother moved to Hugo, Okla. to be near family. Her Mother remarried George Cole and they moved close to Okeene, Okla. At age 16 she met Haney Lyle Baker and they married and had a daughter that was stillborn, and later on a son, Ricky Lyle in 1951. After a divorce, Wilma and Ricky moved to the Dallas area in 1958 and lived with her sister, Betty and husband. She worked at Sunshine Bakery, City Linen Service, and Collins Radio where she met Maurice Norman Dunker and married him in 1962.
They immediately went overseas for Collins Radio to Taipei, Taiwan (Formosa) and were there for 2 years. Their next tour was in Saudi Arabia for 14 months. They were all very glad to get back to the USA and settled in a house on Highland Blvd, Richardson, TX. They moved to 412 Beverly Drive, Richardson, in 1967 and she lived there after Maurice’s death in 2008 until 2018. She then moved into Apartment E at Appletree Court Assisted Living in Richardson.
She was a loving Mom, and she took great pride in her grandchildren and was a wonderful grandma. She attended the Heights Baptist Church.

Viewing will be held from 2pm-6pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
Funeral Services to be held for family attendance only in person at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 16, 2020 at The Memorial Chapel inside Restland Funeral Home, to be officiated by Dr. Gary Singleton.
