Wilma Katherine Martin's Obituary
Wilma Katherine Martin Nee Moffat (formally known as “Billie”) passed away on May 21, 2017, from complications due to cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. Billie is survived by her beloved husband, Jack R. Martin. Together Billie and Jack raised three children, Susie and late husband, Ross Collins, Barbie and Husband, Ron Williams and Robert and wife, Nancy. They also have seven grandchildren as well as eleven great-grandchildren. Jack and Billie met at The University of New Mexico in 1947 where she pledged Pi Beta Phi. They married in 1948 and enjoyed sixty-eight joyous years of marriage. Billie was actively involved in the White Rock community, including Kewanee-Annes Lunch Bunch, L.H Liberal Arts League, and The Convention Bureau of the City of Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Casa Linda Presbyterian Church and Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church. On June 3, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park located at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas, 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Lake Highland Presbyterian Church located at 9919 McCree Rd. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
