Wilma Evelyn Potter's Obituary
Potter, Wilma Evelyn Wilma was born on April 6, 1929 in Joplin, MO and passed away August 14, 2014 in Dallas, TX. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Potter and brother, Thomas Dixon. Survived by daughters, Sue Young and her husband, Mike Young of Dallas, Jayne Potter of Dallas, Sally Rodriguez and her husband, Dennis Rodriguez, Julie Springer and her husband, Chuck Springer of Flower Mound, three foster daughters; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Wilma was the Resident Manager of Ronald McDonald House of Dallas from 1985-1999, where she touched the lives of hundreds of families. Her volunteer activities included Meals on Wheels, English Language Ministries and Presbyterian Women in Northridge. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Northridge Presbyterian Church, 6920 Bob-O-Link Drive, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northridge Presbyterian Church or Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
