Born May 9, 1922 in Shiloh, Arkansas and passed away January 29, 2016 in McKinney, Texas. 93 years 8 mos. 20 days Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years: William D. Tillinghast June 2008, Grandson: Timothy E. Roden June 2011, Mother: Lizzie A. Babb, Father: Dee R. Harlan, Brother: Larry D. Harlan and Sisters: Janet and Marie. Survived by Daughters: Brenda Goke and husband Dennis, Linda Palmer and husband Virgil, Anita Mayfield and husband Ron, sister she raised Ora Etta Willis and sisters, Ina Young, Pat Hart, Joyce Oldham; brothers, Haskell Harlan, Darrell Harlan and loving dog LuLu. Grandchildren: 14, Great-Grand Children: 25, Great-Great Grand Children: 9 and 2 more due this year. She was the eldest of 10 children. Gave freely to St. Jude’s Children Hospital and Disabled Veterans of America. Wilma was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grand-mother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. A special friend and caretaker of many whom were in need. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home followed by the Graveside Service at 2:00 pm at DFW National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Thomas D. Roden, Russell D. Beauchamp, Tony R. Roden, David Harrison, Jereme A. Steele, Johnny K. Wyatt, David W. Wyatt, Colton F. Harrison, Thomas S.H. Roden and Treagan E. Roden Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Family request potted plants or donations to charity of one’s choice.
