Wynne (Dub) H Miller's Obituary
DALLAS, TX- Wynne H (Dub) Miller, 95, was born on February 19, 1923 to Verbie D. Miller and Mary Frances Hickey Miller in McKinney, Texas. He passed away on March 10, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. He married Betty Jackson on February 14, 1941 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was an aircraft mechanic for 15 years with Braniff and owned a service station for 18 years and was an oil jobber for Sinclair Oil and ARCO until his retirement. He was an active member of the Scottish Rite as well as a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church for 70 years, where he served many terms as deacon and elder. He was also an active member of the Swinging Saints, a local square dance group for 31 years. He served in the U.S.Navy from 1942 – 1945 as an Aviation Machinist, 2nd Class. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Betty J. Miller of Dallas; Daughters Cazzie Husbands of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas; Cherie Kennamer of Alpine, Texas; Son Curtis W. Miller of Rockwall, Texas. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m., one hour prior to the actual service that will be at 10:00 a.m, on Thursday March 15th, 2018.Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Road, at Restland Road, Dallas Texas.
