Yasuko Kujime Hjorteset's Obituary
Yasuko Kujime Hjorteset, age 59, passed away on January 22, 2023, in Arlington, Texas.
Yasuko was born in Kobe, Japan on August 16, 1963 to Yoshie and Toshiyasu Kujime. She graduated from Kwansei Gakuin University with a Bachelor's degree in 1988 and University of Washington with a Master's degree in 1990. She enjoyed teaching and interpreting, and she had an excellent touch with animals.
Yasuko is survived by her mother Yoshie Kujime, sister Nagako Taniguchi, former husband Kare Hjorteset, and daughter Nicole Hjorteset. She was preceded in death by her father Toshiyasu Kujime.
Yasuko will be cremated in Dallas and a ceremony and celebration of her life will be conducted in Kobe, Japan at a later date to be announced.
