Yolanda Villasana Rodriguez's Obituary
Yolanda Villasana Rodriguez, a Dallas native, passed away on September 26, 2024, while in the hospital. She was 92 years old.
Ms. Rodriguez graduated from N. R. Crozier Technical High School in 1949. Most of her working life was spent at Villasana’s Food Store, the family business owned by her parents, Rudy Villasana and Margaret Villasana. She loved traveling, going to Texas Ranger baseball games, watching the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, and going to concerts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Rudolph Villasana and Margaret Villasana, her sister; Dora Villasana Zapata, her brothers; Charles Villasana, Rudolph Villasana Jr., and her niece; Anna Villasana Casey. She is survived by her nephews; Patrick and Mike Zapata, her niece; Elva Villasana Lewis, and her sister-in-law; Jeurida Villasana. She also has many cousins, great nieces great nephews and friends.
A private Celebration of Life will be held on October 13th with a reception to follow.
