Younger Manly "Jack" Bradley's Obituary
Y.M. “Jack” Bradley was the last surviving of his 12 brothers and sisters. Husband of 61 years to Sharon Bradley, father of four children, grandfather of three, and uncle to several nieces and nephews, Jack loved his family most of all.A long-time employee of Delta Airlines, Jack retired after 45 years, one of Delta’s longest retained employees. He served the airline at Dallas Love Field, DFW, and Portland (OR) International – an eyewitness to the eruption of Mount St. Helens.Known for his broad smile and genial personality, he had many friends. He enjoyed singing in his church choir, being a Boy Scout Leader, traveling, reading, sports, games, and his dogs.Jack passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, after three days in hospice, and he will be greatly missed.Visitation will be held on January 26, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Carrollton, Texas with funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Jack will be laid to rest at a family gathering at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Operation Kindness or a charity of your choice.Funeral arrangements for Mr. Jack Bradley have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, at the intersection of Restland Road and Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972)238-7111.
