I had the pleasure of working with Yvonne at IBM in the 70s. It was a blessing to know her. She was in a PT rehab facility in Plano several years ago when my husband was there, & I got to say hi to her. I wish I’d known about her passing in time to attend the service for her. Lovely woman.
I was so blessed to have Yvonne as a long and dear friend. She was a beam of light and joy. Always dressed to perfection. Her kind spirit radiated a room when she entered it. I will miss my friend. I know she is resting in the arms of our Holy Spirit . May the family find peace and solace knowing she is smiling upon us all.
It was wonderful being a member of Yvonne’s work team at IBM. Her enthusiasm was infectious and she raised the spirits of everyone she touched. She really “knew her stuff” and was willing to share it with anyone who needed help. The Good Lord has enhanced His team and while we grieve it is comforting to know that she is in His nearer presence.
Yvonne … a most amazing woman who’s been our dearest friend and ‘family’ for almost 40 years. So kind and beautiful … truly a pioneer as a shining career woman. We’ll miss your wisdom, support, and your unique way to of making us feel loved. Although you’ll be sorely missed, we know you’re probably already re-organizing Heaven … along with my Mom. Yvonne, you were my 2nd mom and I thank Mickey for sharing you with me all these years! I will miss our talks about our life at IBM, after IBM, and just life in general. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers! I will miss you my dear friend but I know Heaven has a very special Angel now!
Yvonne was such a lovely lady, in all ways. Also such a wonderful person to work with….intelligent, creative, enthusiastic, cheerful and helpful to all she worked with. Her joy and abundance in personality will be missed. She is lighting up heaven for Christmas for sure! Our prayers go out to her family and close circle of friends.
