Ms. Yvonne Stockton Ballew, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was born on March 19, 1921 to her loving parents, the late James W. Stockton, Sr. and Lorette Burgau. Yvonne is survived by her niece, Jackie Stockton Culler, several great and great-great-grand nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband John E. Ballew; brothers, James Stockton, Jr. and Malcolm J. Stockton; sister, Inez Stockton Abbott.The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, June 23, 2018 beginning at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in Restland Cemetery.
