Yvonne was one of the dearest people I have ever known. I met Maureta when I was in the 5th grade, and we quickly became best friends. We would spend many nights at each other's house, and this is when I became so close to not only Maureta, but her mom. My mom and Yvonne volunteered to be Camp Fire Girl leaders together and also became life long friends. We enjoyed going to the Arboretum together and in December we were invited to a Frank Sinatra party for Yvonne at her nursing home. Yes, Old Blue Eyes was her favorite singer of all time. We watched the last concert he performed, and she sang along as if she was sitting right there in the audience. This is what my mom and I will remember the most about her, this and the loving person she was. Rest in peace our sweet friend. Love to the family, Wanda Harper and Wanda House
