Yvonne Hughes' Obituary
Yvonne Hughes, a resident of Richardson, passed away November 3, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born July 28, 1935 to Wayne Sibley and Vergie (Phillips) in Ellis County, Texas. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her by her loving children, son David Hughes; daughter Karen Wagner and son-in-law, Mark; cherished grandchildren, Darrel Hughes and wife Jennifer, Cody Hughes and wife Michelle, Michael Wagner, Mathew Wagner-Jarvie and wife Pauline and Amy Harmer and husband Nathan; precious great grandchildren Mason Hughes, Savannah Hughes, Owen Hughes, Audrey Hughes, Jack Wagner-Jarvie and numerous nieces and nephews.
Yvonne was a devoted Christian and was active in her church. She was married to husband Bill Hughes for 50 years before his death in 2005. She was a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt to her family. Yvonne was very creative and after years of painting she picked up the craft of quilting and shared her beautiful artwork and quilts with each of her family members.
