Zach Zimmerman's Obituary
Zacharias (Zach) Zimmerman departed this life on September 23, 2019. He was born in Dallas, Texas on April 6, 1974 to his father, Donnie Zimmerman and his mother, Virginia Petty Zimmerman. Those left to cherish his sweet memory include his mother, stepfather Jerry Bunch, sister Becky Zimmerman and father, Donnie Zimmerman. Zach will be dearly missed by his loving family, devoted friends and all who loved him.Zach attended Texas Tech University where he pledged Tau Kappa Epsilon, later graduating from Texas Wesleyan University. He was an avid traveler who traveled to more than 10 countries as well as throughout the US. He studied abroad in Ireland on summer while in college.Zach enjoyed life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He was always the life of the party. He was a licensed realtor in the D/FW area. He was actively involved in the buying and selling of approximately 15 homes and the renovation, design and so much more for the past 15 years. He was a great son, brother and friend. The world will never be the same without Zacharias Zimmerman.A Celebration of Life for our beloved Zach will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at Central Christian Church, 4711 Westside Drive, Dallas, Texas 75209; led by Dr. Ken Crawford.The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that any contribution in Zach’s memory be made to Arlington Hall at Turtle Creek Park, 214-528-3243, where a permanent bench will be placed near Arlington Hall called “Zach’s Bench”; or to your local SPCA.
