Zachary Adam Pellegrini's Obituary
Zach was Heaven Lent on October 7, 1988 in Dallas, TX. And, he was Heaven Sent on May 26, 2009 in Plano, TX. His death was the result of multiple medical complications from an accidental three story fall on the campus of University of Texas at Dallas. He attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School – Richardson, TX from K-8, graduating in May 2003. Also, in 2003, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 728. He was a 2007 Summa Cum Laude graduate from Jesuit College Prep. – Dallas, TX. At the time of death, he was attending U.T.D. on an Academic Distinction Scholarship. He was welcomed to Heaven by his paternal grandparents Cecelia S. & Carl Pellegrini, maternal grandparents Leta & Ed Williams, step-grandfather Leroy R. Houston, aunt Robin E. Williams, cousins Ryan Oliver, Albert D. Pellegrini, Jr. & Tristan Yancy. He is survived by adoring parents, Suzanne & Edward F. Pellegrini, older sister Casey; numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins & lifelong friends. As a well-trained Eagle Scout, Zach will “PREPARE” the way for others to follow ~ He will clear the path, so others’ Heavenly Trek will be less arduous. Our heartfelt thanks are extended to the extraordinary loving care Zach received during his 39 days at the Medical Center of Plano, TX by Dr. Sastry & staff. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 29th with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, May 30th at 11:00 am with a reception immediately following. Both services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 West Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX, 75023. In lieu of flowers, Zach requested donations be made to Second Chance SPCA, 505 Alma Drive, Plano, TX 75075. Zach was an enormous fan of all the work they do saving the lives of dogs & cats.
