We first loved Adam because he loved Amber, then we easily learned to love him as a valuable member of our family. Our fondest memory was a trip to Big Bend together. We also cherish the memory of his filling our house with sweet and glorious guitar music. We loved and mentored Adam, and are heartbroken that is wasn't enough to save him from his demons. He will never be forgotten.

I have very few memories of middle school and the summers between that don't include Adam. In every one of those memories there was always happiness and a little mischief. Adam was a wonderful part of those years and I am only sorry we lost touch. My Heart and Prayers are with all of the people who LOVE Adam so much and will MISS him DEARLY. I will miss you friend.
Adam will be greatly missed by our family. I have so many wonderful memories of the time he lived with us in Lafayette. I loved him like one of my own. Please know I will be praying God will give you a pease only he can give. The Hamrick family.

Adam was my first significant boyfriend. He changed my life at 13 and again at 30. I spoke with him daily and laughed with him often. He had become my one of my best friends, again.
