Mrs. Quinn was my Health teacher in my freshman year at Soldan. I was slated to debate in her class. When I failed to show up for class, she called my home that evening . I had an asthma attack and was in bed when my mother answered the phone . “Hello, Mrs. Quinn”! I was so touched , Mrs. Quinn called to check on me! My mother wouldn’t let me talk to my favorite teacher, who unofficially became my counselor until graduation in 1977 and my friend forever .

I graduated in the class of '73 and remember Mrs. Quinn as a wonderful person and role model to me. All who had the privilege of knowing her and her sister Mrs. Deloach could never forget them. My condolences to the family.🙏🏾🕊✝️
