I haven't seen Curly and Al in years, but I always smile remembering both of them while growing up next door and babysitting their kids. Eck…that dates me! She would always just smile when we would go over and ask Curly to come out and play. I remember her joy when she had Robin and Glen. Her death strikes a real pain in my heart and a deep sense of loss. My heart and prayers go out to all of the family, especially Curly whom I will always love dearly.

I am so sorry I cannot be there with the family. It hurts so much to know that Grandma is gone and I can't come to the funeral. I know she was proud of me and loved me because she made a point of saying so every time I got to see her. She was so excited to know I was studying abroad. She was the sweetest person and I am gonna miss her a lot. I love you Grandma and I know you are in a better place. I'm gonna miss Christmases without you.
