I joined Kansas University in 2003 probably after Aleks had already passed on. I didn't even know who he was until tonight when I checked up my university tuition fees balance. I owed the university $500 and as a financial struggling African student in the U.S. my intention was to pay $150 only. I was going to sort out the remaining $350 balance as the year progresses. But no!
I was shocked to discover that I did not owe anything. ZERO. What had happened? So, I checked and you cannot believe it, can you? Some Aleksander Mrdjenovic Scholarship had secretly cleared up my debt without even telling me.The university did not inform me either. Am I alive? What is this scholarship? Who is Aleks? I searched online and oh boy, this can't be real. Thank you very much Aleks for this miracle. Thank you too to your family for sharing your inheritance with me. May your wonderful soul continue resting in peace. This is overwhelming!
On Monday, I shall contact accounts staff at KU to express my words of gratitude.
