So sorry to hear of Corky's passing. He was the quarterback of the YMCA football team I played on and a wonderful cartoonist as well. We were also in the same boy scout troop: he was a beaver and I was a hawk. I've been searching for Corky for several years on the internet and just found what I thought was a telephone number. Alas, I didn't know he was sick. Really liked Corky!

I have nothing but great memories with Courtney. Dove hunting with the Grady Spruce Gang, fishing in Montana, hanging out on Bryn Mawr, and sharing our love of Labrador Retrievers. One of the crowing memories was Courtney leading me on a tour of the Little Big Horn National Battlefield in Montana. His depth of knowledge was really impressive. Many good times with this fun and interesting Patriot. God Bless!

One of the best “greatest generation” guys. His love of Camp Grady Spruce is shown from the time as camper, started going in 1950, and other than years in service, to his country, Courtney was affiliated with Camp Grady Spruce as camper, camp staff, volunteer fundraiser, board member and adviser. He was a great storyteller and loved to hunt and fish.
I’m grateful that his journey and mine ran together for many years.
