Alice Lorraine DeLaughter, 91, was born on May 25, 1927, to Victor and Lillie Johnson Duckworth in Dallas, TX and passed away January 19, 2019, in Dallas, TX. Alice married David N. DeLaughter on August 29, 1944, in Dallas, TX and was married for 71 years until Norman’s death in 2015. She was a stay at home wife, mother, and full-time caregiver and was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and sisters, and several nieces and nephews. She is survived by 2 daughters: Val Denise Rubalcava of Dallas, TX and Dawn DeLaughter Dryden and husband, Waylon of Chandler, TX ; son, David Lynn DeLaughter and wife, Jenny of Dallas, TX; Grandchildren: Tony Ragle and wife, Rayanne; Dalia Cipriano and husband, Anthony; Stevan Rubalcava and Corey Dryden; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.A visitation will be held at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm with services to follow after the visitation.
