We so loved Margaret as my husband and I met at Earl and Margaret's home in Dallas in 1980. I will miss her quick wit, her easy smile, and her constant interest in our lives and our children's lives through the years. She never once missed my birthday and sent a card to let me know she was thinking of me! She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she often enjoyed sharing their latest adventures and accomplishments.
She was a wonderful woman, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be greatly missed!

Margaret you will be a greatly missed friend. You were always there for me after all the dinners we have been to with The Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church Dallas TX. I loved talking to you about your working career at The World Trade Center and listening to you talk about your kids and grand-kids. I hope you lived the life you wanted and now will reunite with your husband.

Margaret and Earl were dear friends of my mother and dad in the 50’s, 60’s and beyond in Dallas. My sister Pam and I grew up with Larry and Duane - we had such fun days together and many birthday parties and celebrations. Those were good days. Cynthia and Carla were close to the same age. Earl was Dad’s best man at my folk’s wedding in 1949 and Mother and Margaret spent many visits and telephone calls together! We went to the Reaves for union meetings. When the Reaves moved north we were in meetings together at my folks place as well. My folks and the Reaves and Hedges usually went to supper and had good visits once a year until Earl died. We have not been in close touch with Margaret since we moved to Midlothian in 1988 but I enjoyed working with Margaret and others to compile our little testimonies booklet. She remembered my birthday and I sent her texts on hers. Debi and I are glad she could go on to her reward. We wish the family deep comfort from the Lord in her passing.
