We have known Allen & Alice for almost 40 years and will miss his stories of adventure and ministry to people where ever he went. We pray for God's strength, peace and gladness for the family. We especially remember the Mission House at First Baptist Decatur, Ga. and the thrilling stories of serving God as missionaries. We will be in Dallas on July 25, 2008.
Aprile, Paul, and Stickney Family, Wanted to let you know we remember you in our prayers. Though your dad is well now in the presence of his Lord, missing him will be powerfully deep. As God carries you, may His comfort be known.
Dear Paul, Aprile, the girls, and the rest of the Stickney family, Our hearts go out to you in this time of loss. We know that Allen meant the world to you, and not only did he leave an impression on you, but on all the people he ministered to through the years. He touched so many people. Please know that our prayers are with you. Jon and Meggan Warren
We love the Stickney family, and are praying for your strength to face each day without Allen. Allen got to go see Jesus personally on a Sunday; what a worship-time he is experiencing. Allen is now in the presence of the One he served so faithfully. Praise God! He was a great man of God, and we will miss him. May God bless you, Alice, and keep you and make His face to shine upon you and give you peace. Love, Linda & Ken
Allen will be missed but I have no doubt that this is simply a "see you later" versus a a "good bye".
Allen and Alice have had such a HUGE impact in our lives– discipling us, opening their home for gatherings, baptizing us in the neighbor's pool. We will always remember Allen's huge smile as he said " hello ZiZi"; his laughing hardest at his own jokes, and his carrying around a gigantic stack of memory verse cards. We thank God for Allen in our lives and look forward to seeing him in heaven- but right now we miss him greatly.
Our deepest sympathies and condolences to family and friends for your loss. It is an honor to have spent time with him this side of Heaven.
Not often do you meet and know a person that talks the talk, but also walks the walk, and then helps countless others to do the same. Allen was this person. He did not just talk it and do it but he did it with passion, with love for each of us, and with the Love of our Lord….He will be missed, but his work will live on, and that would please him and we know it pleases God.
Hold on to your memories, and let them guide you during this time of saddness.
