We taught in neighboring rooms at Sam Houston Middle School. Amanda had a joyous smile that reflected her beautiful heart. She was such a loving, kind and encouraging soul.
Amanda was an intern for the summer in Prague when I was there serving as a missionary. She made a CD for me to share her favorite songs. I loved it and listened to it often. I hear songs now that are ones from the cd and I always think of her. I remember her laugh, and her warm, loving and fun- loving personality. Amanda made people feel accepted, seen and loved. She truly was and will continue to be a bright light in the hearts of all of us who were gifted with her friendship. Thank you God for this exceptional woman.

Amanda was a great teacher who laughed at my jokes, even when they weren't funny.
Anytime I received the opportunity to sit and talk with Amanda, I smiled. When thinking of her now, I smile. What a beautiful legacy to leave behind. I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda when she was just a young middle school girl, and her boundless enthusiasm for life was already present! I remember sitting around the table, listening to endless stories she would share and they almost always ended in tears of laughter. As our friendship continued through adulthood as our families merged through marriage, I always found it an absolute pleasure and joy to be in her presence. Amanda lit up the room with her love and light. I am beyond thankful to have been able to experience some life with Amanda and I will never forget the way she loved everyone and could always see the positive and bright side of people. This picture reminds me of the beautiful soul that embodied Amanda, light and love. Rest easy Amanda, relish in those streets of gold. You left an incredible legacy behind and the never ending gift of your larger than life smile and laugh will always remembered! 💜
