Andy and I became friends at J.L. Long Jr. High School and stayed friends all these years. Low and behold we shared the same Birthday on July 30th. We continued to exchange Birthday cards every year. We were also both of Scotch Irish ancestry. He also had a great sense of humor. Whatever was physically wrong with Andy here on earth, God has healed him instantly when He took him to Heaven. He will be waiting in Heaven with his arms open for each one of his family and close friends when God calls us home. I feel blessed that God had our paths cross so many years ago and we stayed friends all these years. Thank you Lord Jesus for our connection and friendship! Yvonne Erwin Work

Andy and I became friends in the 8th grade at J.L. Long Jr. High. We double dated all through high school. And when we went away to college, married and Andy was in the Air Force, stationed outside of Waco he came by every day for lunch as Andy, Ann and I all needed the friendship. We all moved back to Dallas and did so many goofy things together that make for great memories. For one, Andy and Ann played the leads in a PTA musical called, "Prissy Galore',where he sang with a French accent. Through the years Andy and I and a band of buddies met every Wednesday for "Happy Hour'' and went, at least once a year on camp outs…first in tents and as we got older, switched to cabins. How quickly time passes. To think our friendship started in our teens and now has ended in our 80's .How blessed we were to have had these many years together. Richard Hazlett . .
I am so sorry to learn of your Father's untimely passing. We had not seen your Dad since leaving the Dallas area in 1961. I was able to visit with him at our Woodrow Wilson High School reunion last October, and began corresponding with him by email. He wouldn't say anything about his medical condition, but as I remember, he never liked to bring attention to himself. He was always more concerned about others, and that was one of the special things that most people loved about him. I can honestly say that he was one of the best friends that I ever had, and his Heart defined his truly outstanding character. He always tried to do the right thing in Life, and I'm certain all of his children, and grandchildren will attest to that fact. I had the privilege of working through the three Master Masonic degrees with Andy at the Roy Stanley Masonic Lodge No. 1367 in Casa Linda, back in the 1950's. He was always an inspiration to others, as had been his Father, Robert McCulloch. I know that both of these fine men will sincerely lead their surviving family members to the Kingdom of Heaven, where they are making a place for you. God bless you all.
