Andy was a very special friend of my husband Rich; and so I was blessed to become his, as well as Lisa's, friend.
Andy was a true Southern gentleman. He was charming, soft-spoken, kind, gentle, caring, very generous, unselfish -- always putting the needs of others before himself.
He was always friendly and interested in others; he was helpful, companionable, polite and well-mannered, service-oriented, and gracious!
Andy loved his wife Lisa, and his family. He loved his friends. AND he loved FISHING! He and Lisa, and Rich and I, spent many vacations together fishing in Michigan and Canada. We all had lots of fun together, caught lots of fish, and were so inspired by the beauty of nature surrounding us -- the water, trees, loons, eagles, islands -- to name a few.
We also shared the most remarkable and memorable nature cruise to Alaska together: a very special highlight in our lives!
Andy will be missed by all of us -- all of his friends and family. But he is right here with us in spirit; and his life continues to move forward with new views and adventures. God, divine Love, is watching over Andy, and embracing him, and all of us, with His care, comfort, and love.
An American religious leader of the 19th century, Mary Baker Eddy, wrote this comforting idea: "Where God is we can meet, and where God is we can never part." That is Love's promise to us all!
Andy -- and Lisa -- we love you!
