Arthur B. Estep, Jr.'s Obituary
Born December 31, 1922 in Dallas, Texas where he lived until January 2, 1923. His parents were Arthur B. Sr. and Dora Williams Estep. He was the 1st of 2 children. Arthur attended Rosemont Elementary, Sunset High School, SMU, and Trinity University earning his Masters. After graduation, he began a career in the U.S. Air Force from 1942 to 1965 during WWII in Korea achieving the rank of Lt. Col. receiving many medals and an IRS Agent. He retired in 1965 after serving 23 years. After retirement he and Mary, whom he married August 31, 1947, enjoyed traveling and family life. Arthur was a Mason and a Military Officer. He was a loving, caring, generous, honest and faithful person. He enjoyed reading, visiting with people, telling life stories. His favorite music was orchestra, 40’s music, How Great Thou Art, and Amazing Grace. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home followed by the Graveside Service at 1:30 pm at Restland Memorial Park, Mission Section. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
