John Bowlin
Kevin and Family, Came across the post regarding your Mom's passing on Facebook. Wanted to express my condolences and lift you all up in prayer at this time. Remember your Mom well from our childhood in Oklahoma City. Remember being at your home in OKC many afternoons, after a day of school at St. Charles Elementary and Hefner Junior. Seemed we were always doing something, fishing, riding bikes, etc., and your Mom served up many a lunch for us kids. Also, remember her driving us around in the old Ford Station Wagon. My Mom went to a Bible study with her at St. Charles Church with Father Ivan. They also bowled together for a time. For some reason, I have a memory of her driving us to a movie or something and a song came on the radio. She made us listen to it and she mentioned how she really liked the song and it was sung by this new group called "The Carpenters." Funny what you remember. Remember her friendly nature. Always made me feel like a family member and you had a large family. May our Lord Jesus give you His peace at this time and always. Your Mom is with Him this very day! As a side, had to start a new Facebook page and will refriend you. Call anytime. My cell is 314-609-3690. Thoughts and prayers for you all.
