Barbara and her family helped me when I came to America in 1989. I barely spoke English but they took me in & helped me to become an American citizen. I love this country! But, I love Barbara and her family more!!! I will always be thankful for what they did for me. Barbara and Les Cohen made it possible for me to succeed in the United States. God bless them both! Barbara continued to be a strong influence in my life. We remained friends thru thick & thin. She always had a kind word for everyone around her and received very little in return. Barbara's generous spirit was what made her so special to me. I will always love her and forever be grateful.
Barbara (my step-mother) and Joe Hunt (my dad) had the Rhythm Ranch in Dalark, Arkansas for almost 15 years. It was always fun to be at their ranch! Barbara really enjoyed being outdoors & working with their menagerie of animals. Those days were usually filled with family fun & lots of music. Barbara was very talented. She could write a song in under 3 minutes flat! I said many times that she should have lived in Nashville, Tennessee and worked on Music Row. She was that talented!! I will miss seeing Barbara. She was always so sweet to me & I was just a step-daughter. She was such a sweet lady! God bless her sweet heart!
