Bennie Ruth Carroll was born May 8, 1927 in Rockwall, TX and passed away on September 15, 2015 in Rockwall, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry B. Carroll; mother, Alva Marie Ross-Crawford and brother, Cozell Ross. Bennie is survived by daughters, Linda A. Dewitt and Catherine R. Davis; son, James B. Carroll; grandchildren, Christi Grant, Misty Davis-Vaughan, Samuel B. Carroll, Les B. Carroll and Sarah K. Carroll; great grandchildren, Andrew Carroll, Aidan Carroll, Keegan-Ray Carroll, Karlie Carroll and Declan Carroll. The visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 9:30 AM Saturday, September 19, 2015 at The Abbey Chapel at Restland. Memorials may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Visiting Nurses Association, St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
