Berlan Dumas' Obituary
Berlan Dumas, 90, born October 31, 1926 in Emerson, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Colleyville, Texas. Berlan is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Jane. Berlan is survived by his step-son Paul Buckley and wife Sarah, sisters; Betty Sue Schott and Geneva Johnson, grandchildren; Amy Beth Gilstrap, Robert Gilstrap and Christine Gaytan, great-grandchildren; Elizabeth, Jarod and Victoria, as well as a nephew and numerous nieces.. Berlan belonged to the Colleyville Church of Christ for many years. He served his county in the United States Navy during World War II. Funeral Services will be held Monday January 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Colleyville Church of Christ, 1008 Church St, Colleyville, TX 76034, followed by burial at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, Texas. Berlan will receive military honors for his faithful and dedicated service to his country.
