Rusty was my neighbor and my friend. She made one feel special, as if you were the only person in the room. I have missed Rusty...the Christmas candy, our trips to the casino, our Bible discussions over cups of coffee or a glass of wine. So to Rusty, my heart is as full as I drink my glass of wine to you, my dear friend. Peace be with you.✝️️

To say Rusty was a friend puts it mildly. I think the words of the 6th Station of the Cross ✝️️ best describes friendship:

A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter,
He who finds one finds a treasure.
A faithful friend is beyond price,
No sum can balance his worth.
A faithful friend is a life-saving remedy,
Such as he who fears God finds;
For he who fears God behaves accordingly and his friend will be like himself.
