Bertie (Rusty) Rust Terry, age 91, of Plano, Texas passed away on July 24, 2022 in Plano, Texas. She was born on 9/29/1930 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Shirley L and Elva G. (Maynard) Rust. She married Leroy Terry on April 22, 1993. Rusty leaves a legacy of love, faith and great food. Cooking was her Love Language. She enjoyed making homemade candy for everyone at Christmas.
Rusty was preceded in death by her parents, Shirly L Rust and Elva G. Rust; brother, Shirley Rust, Jr. and his wife, Miche Rust; sister, Betty McCurry and her husband Russell M. McCurry; daughter in love, Edith Dorbritz Smith and nephew, Matthew Rust.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Leroy Terry; brother, Jerry Rust; sister in law, Jackie Phillips; daughters, Adele Ciruti and Diana Winfield (Allan); children by marriage, Gail Jaynes (Maurice), Doyle Terry (Donna), David Terry and Buddy Dorbritz (Cheri); grandchildren; Westley Moss (Diana), Megan Elder, David Winfield; grandchildren by marriage, Barry Dorbritz (Emily), Jason Jaynes (Stacy), Stacey Cobb (Jason), Todd Smith, Cara Smith and Beau Danielson; great grandson, Conley J. Moss; great grandchildren by marriage, Madeline Jaynes, Harper Jaynes, William Jaynes, Andrew Jaynes, Tyler Cobb, Parker Cobb and Kennedy Cobb and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church Plano, 3160 E Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75074 .
