My best memory of Bess was when she would come to John and Nadine’s house in McKinney and she taught me how to make salmon croquettes! We would laugh, talk and just enjoy each other’s company! She was the best sister in law anyone could ever have! I love you Bess and will see you again in Heaven!

Bessie was my grandmother. My fondest memory of her is also my earliest; in the 80s, she had a Datsun car that talked! Tickled me pink as a child. I love her dearly, and she shall be missed.

A fond memory of Bess is when I was invited to join the family for dinner and a musical. We went to Blue Corn Harvest to eat and then to see Singing in the Rain. It was a great evening and I enjoying chatting with Bess and getting to know her a bit. 💙
