Bessie Lee Lindsey's Obituary
Bessie Lee Lindsey was born September 24th, 1937, in McKinney, Tx and died August 5, 2025, in Cedar Park, Texas at 87 years old.
Bessie married Arthur Lee Lindsey in September of 1956. Arthur later joined the Air Force, which allowed his family to travel all over the world and live in many places both inside and outside of the United States.
Bessie loved to sew, bake and decorate cakes but mostly she loved dogs. Her last years were engaged in the struggle of her fight with Alzheimer's while still trying to enjoy life.
Bessie was preceded in death by her husband Arthur, her parents John and Nadine Bates and her son Rick Stephens. Bessie is survived by her living children, Denise Satsky, Donna Rau and husband Stafford, son John Lindsey and wife Judy, and daughter-in-law Kathy Stephens, and by her 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Bessie will be missed by all of her family and the good friends she made at The Monarch, where she passed away.
Her graveside ceremony will be held at the Garden of Devotion in Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas Tx 75243 on Wednesday August 13, 2025, at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you instead to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, to help fight this horrible disease.
