I'm so grateful for the Powell family. Beth's unconditional love for everyone and the Lord has made a profound difference in many lives. Her smile and laugh lit up a room. PRAISE GOD he used her amazing energy and spirit for 101 years! We miss you and love you Nana. God bless ❤️
My special memory was having a “nightcap” with Beth every night. Beth would always say; Hey, how bout we have two tonight! I would dig in her candy bowl to find 2 Mango (her favorite) and 2 original “Prince of Peace” ginger chews. After our chat and chew I would kiss her goodnight and tell her I loved her.
It was such an honor and privilege to have known her and help her with whatever she needed at the moment. She is greatly missed and my heart aches for her family.

Oh my, Beth Powell was such a treasure!
I was blessed with meeting her when her precious daughter Patsy and I were Kappas at SMU.
She and I shared the same birthday, December 28th, and it has always been acknowledged all these years.
She had the most beautiful eyes that sparkled, especially when she laughed, and we accomplished a lot of that over the years.
Beth was a caring, strong Christian woman who I always respected and am honored to have known and be loved by her.
No doubt, Heaven is having a party right now!
We loved our sweet Beth. What a blessing she was to so many people. We will miss you very much.

Heartfelt condolences to Beth's family and dear friends.
I enjoyed working with Beth during her years at SMU.
It always amused me to watch her "manage" her bosses, Walt Snickenberger and Jim Caswell.
Beth always had a kind word for me and a lot of good advice.
I could always get a giggle out of her by asking her about King George as she loved George Strait!
Knowing Beth enriched my career tremendously.
Beth had a generous spirit and made anyone who was in her presence feel valued and important to her. I remember how gracious she was when I met William over 20 years ago. She always wanted to make sure I was comfortable in her home. We had many great times at the Texas Rangers Baseball games cheering them on as they eventually won the World Series.
She was a true inspiration and gift to me.
