Billie Maud was my sister. She had the same father Marvin Alvin Driggers. I loved her very much and think of all the wonderful times we shared in our early life. For some reason during my quiet time this morning, I thought of Billie, I don't know why and I had a longing to get in touch with her. I found this page and I'm so extremely sad to hear of her passing. She was an extraordinary woman! I took art lesson from her for years from the time I was 9 yrs old. I am now almost 50. She taught me about beauty, talent, and far bigger lessons about self-acceptance and what it means to be creative. I loved her dearly. She is missed.
Billie will be missed. I was her dental hygienist for many years and she was always so caring and complimentary. I know she struggled with her health for many years and luckily had a very supportive, loving husband to get her through the rough times. My sympathies to you, Doyle. It was a pleasure to have known her and been part of her life. In God's love, Glenda

Billie, thank you for being such a wonderful mother-in-law to me. I was treated like one of the family from the first moment I met you all those years ago. We will miss you at the holidays the most, I think. I'm glad we got to share so many with you. You always made them special for all of us. Rest in peace. Love, Becky Cowart
This world lost a wonderful, beautiful person but I know that Billie is with our Lord and Savior. Billie shared her love and her talent with me for so many years. That was one of the most special times of my life. Our shared love of Jesus was an extra special bond. So to Doyle and the family, I send my love and prayers. I know how much you will miss her and I know how very much she loved each of you. Barb Scherer
