Mrs. Henrie was so much more than my PE teacher! She was a role model for all of us and exemplified the values of family and learning. I was so fortunate to be welcomed into her home and to have her as a mentor for many years beyond JNB! She touched the lives of so many of us and always expected us to be the best we could be. I'll always have a piece of her in my heart! God holds her in his arms and sends His love to her family as they make this transition!
I will always think of Mrs. Henrie as the original steel magnolia! What a wonderful role model she was… Love to Ada Ann & the entire family… Carolyn Scroggins Hudspeth

I could never repay Billie for all of the love and attention that she gave to my dad in his last years. She was truly a dear friend who shared her knowledge of the antique business we me and helped me to be the person that I am today.
Some great memories of Mrs.Henrie and Coach Duncan on the playground at JNB. RIP Mrs.Henrie

I can remember Aunt Bille as a funny lady. We lived states apart, so I did not get to see her very often. I remember my mother telling me stories about her. They are both together with a lot of other family members and I think that they are just having a ball telling stories of their lives! God Bless you Aunt Billie and RIP
Mrs. Henrie was a wonderful teacher at John Neely Bryan Elementary in Dallas when I attended there in the late 50's and early 60's. She was loved by the students there in those days. Rest in peace Mrs. Henrie.
