Billie Loretta Henrie's Obituary
Billie was born and grew up in Oklahoma. She attended OBU and later graduated from North Texas. She was a longtime PE teacher in the DISD. After retirement, she enjoyed working in the antique business. Preceded in death by her husband, Dan W. Henrie; son, Dan W. Henrie; and parents, James W. and Ada (Carr) Berkley. Billie is survived by her daughter, Ada Ann Henrie Wingate and husband, Joseph L. Wingateof New Hampshire; grandchildren, Dan W. Henrie, III of Florida, Joseph L. Wingate, Jr. of Colorado, Jonathan R. Wingate of New Hampshire, William E. Henrie-Luko of Texas; great grandchildren, Brannon B. Henrie, Darien C. Henrie, Jadon Y. Henrie of Florida, Sophia E. Wingate and Caleb J. Wingate of Colorado, Blake E. Wingate of New Hampshire. Service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 12:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to the charity of one’s choice in Billie’s name.
