Billie Van Martin's Obituary
Bill went to his eternal home with the Lord on June 28, 2010. His outgoing personality and dedication to his career in the transportation industry endeared him to everyone with whom he came in contact. He inspired a sense of strength, compassion and loyalty in others. He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Isla Martin; sister, Mary Quisenberry and stepson, Chris. He is survived by his wife, Elta; son, Van Martin and wife, Kendra; three granddaughters Katelyn, Claire and Christy; sister-in-law, Patricia Corder; brother-in-law, John Quisenberry and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. Pallbearers include: Warren Reynolds; Bill Cox; Jackie Grant; Robert Carlock; Kirby Pugh; Rick Sanders; Chad Shelton; Kerry Gibson. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 30th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Services will be held at 3:30 pm, Thursday, July 1 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
