I worked as the Administrative Coordinator in Diagnostic Sciences and knew Dr. Brown for several years as the Director of Oral Diagnosis in the department. He was one of the nicest, most delightful people I've ever known. Always upbeat and cheerful with a smile and kind words. We had the department Christmas party at his home one year. When I rang the doorbell, he opened the door wearing a Santa hat and apron and said, "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas! Well, come on in here!". Precious. This world has lost a wonderful soul. I grew up next door to the Browns and remember the fallout shelter Dr Brown had placed in their back yard on Elderwood. Bill told my dad, Harold Lankford, that the fallout shelter was the worst investment he ever made.
My thoughts are with the Brown Family.

Bill and I first met in 1971 when I rode my bike over introduce myself after meeting Vicky. As you can imagine, I was a little nervous..however Bill and Sherry had a way making people feel at ease and welcomed me into the famlily from day 1 . From that day on,the Brown families and Daneman families I , Vicky, Austin , Ausleigh and all of us have been blessed with many, many special wonderful times with Bill, Daddy Bill, Uncle Bill, Dr. Bill. Bill,you have truly inspired us with your goodness, compassion , strength and stamina to finish in fine style. We will always love and cherish our times with you.
