Tina Wilson
I am so happy that I had the privilege of knowing Bill. He was such a sweet, caring and interesting man. I always enjoyed his stories that he shared about growing up on a farm and all the things that happened and the changes that occurred throughout his life. He loved his wife and soulmate, Paula and his children Debbie and Wilson so very much. He had a great memory, whether telling a story or reciting a poem. I will always remember him reciting my favorite poem “Annabelle Lee”. His son, Wilson and I loved going out to our favorite restaurants with Bill. He especially loved Mexican food. We have had so many fun times with him whether going out for dinner and drinks or playing dominoes back at his house. He gave me my first African Violet. He truly loved growing, showing and judging these flowers. He had a beautiful green house behind his house where he took such care of these beautiful flowers. Wilson and I would share our New Year’s Eve’s with Bill. It was always a fun time. On the way home we would drive through the neighborhoods and look at all the Christmas lights and decorations. He would tell us great stories about the family or the history of Dallas. He was an amazing man. I loved him like he was my very own family. He was always so kind and thoughtful. We will miss “Big Bill” so very much! But, we all know that he is filled with joy being reunited with his loving wife and our Lord and Savior. You will always be Forever 23! Love, Tina
