Our condolences to the family. He was always very nice to us at the Cowboy games with Cory, always taking the time to say hi, and share our Cowboys enthusiasm on Sunday afternoons. I know everyone will miss him.

Bill was such an inspiration. He was one of the first people I met in Economic Development and was always generous with his time, advice and leadership. He is truly missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I too want to offer my heartfelt condolences to Bill’s family and friends. He and I go back about 40 years and he is one of the few people I know that never had an enemy and was always quick to help anyone in need. He served on my board when I was ceo of the TexasEDC and he helped guide that organization with such care and grace.
He will be deeply missed.
I had the privelege to have worked with Bill at TXU for 20 years. He helped in my ED training and daily activities. He and Karen became good friends with my family. His knowledge and experience in Community Development helped many communities in their strategic planning. He will be missed by all who worked with him. RIP my friend. Gary w Kennedy
Just seeing Bill's smile after leaving Oncor in 2004, not too long after he retired form Oncor, reminded me of his willingness to help those around him more than anyone I know. Bill always exhibited a professional persona; he was patient and approachable. He was humorous, trustworthy and kind. Most importantly he was a Christian and he was my friend. My condolence to all who loved him, he is no doubt with his Heavenly Father today. PTL
Bill was a great and humble man; a good friend and colleague in the economic development profession. I admired Bill and thought the world of him. He will be greatly missed on many fronts. What a privilege for me to have known Bill and called him friend.
Please allow me to offer that this is a significant loss to not only those of us that knew and worked with Bill in economic development; but to everyone. Bill made this world a better place. His trusted guidance, his keen sense of humor and his willingness to spend time with many of us that came into Texas from outside the state enhanced and touched our lives. My condolences to his family and friends as he was one of the greats.
Sincerely,
Mike Barnes
My deepest condolences. Bill was one of my favorite people in the economic development business. A good professional and great person . Mario Hernandez
