Brent Leigh Erickson's Obituary
Brent Leigh Erickson, 80, of Royse City, Texas, passed away on November 19th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 20, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, Brent was the son of Paul Oliver Erickson and Georgia Lucille Erickson Saunders.
Brent proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1971, achieving the rank of First Lieutenant. His dedication to service continued throughout his life as a member of the Hunt County Honor Guard and the Royse City American Legion.
On January 26, 1968, Brent married Patricia Erickson Howard, and together they built a life filled with love and family. Brent was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He worked diligently throughout his career and enjoyed playing golf in his free time.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Oliver Erickson and Georgia Lucille Erickson Saunders, and his grandson, Tyler Dalton Freeman.
Brent is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Erickson; daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Tim Freeman, and grandson Taylor Freeman; daughter and son-in-law Holly and Pete Carr, and grandson Jameson Bagnell; brother and sister-in-law Erik and Erica Erickson, along with their son Oliver Erickson and family; brother and sister-in-law Dale and Jewel Erickson, niece Elizabeth Hayes and her family, and nephew Chris Erickson.

Please join us for visitation on Saturday, November 29, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wildwood Chapel, with burial immediately following.
