Bruce Rutherford Lane was born on July 5th, 1933 on a farm three miles south of Blooming Grove, TX. His parents were Lizzie Moody Lane and James Albert Lane. He was an SMU graduate, a track runner, and joined the Air Force ROTC. A Read Obituary
Revisiting my grandfather's obituary for genealogy. I thought I should share my visit and pay my respects.
The loss is a void. We must continue and let the space filled with something else. It is comforting to look back to the void, a tip of the hat.

We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of Bruce. He was always so kind and positive whenever he came to visit with us. I don't remember ever seeing him without a smile. He will be missed.
Please excuse the late entry, as I just found out about Bruses' passing. I have been retired for 4 years and have been outside of the business information loop. I extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Lane family. Bruce was a tough, but very good businessman. I always had a great deal of respect for him. He will surely be missed by many.
