Carl Anderson was a blessing. My late father and I attended his Friday morning Bible Class for many, many years. Carl was a gentleman and a scholar, a patient teacher, and a precious Believer who used his intellectual gifting “to tend His sheep and feed His lambs”. Carl was so proud of his wife Cathy and their six children! I am truly sad to learn that Carl is no longer here but thoroughly delighted that he is now safely home! Thankful for Carl Anderson’s willingness to help light the way!

Pastor Carl was a kind and generous man, and our family feels so blessed to have known him as our pastor. He shared his knowledge freely, especially with my husband(blessing him with so many of his books, that he deeply treasures), and he and his family always made sure we had "family away from family" on special occasions like Christmas Eve and Easter when we were far from home (India). We hold such fond memories of our time with him at GRCC, and his love and ministry deeply touched our lives.

Pastor Carl also blessed us by dedicating our firstborn, a memory we cherish deeply. He was there for so many special moments in our lives, and the pictures (attached) from that day always remind us of the love and care he poured into his ministry.

Though we will miss him dearly, we find comfort in the hope we have in Christ, knowing Pastor Carl is now free from pain and we will see him again in heaven. Our love and heartfelt condolences to Kathy and the children as they navigate this difficult time. We pray they find peace and strength in the legacy of love he left behind.

Carl had an incredible impact on me as a young man when he was my leader in Boy Scouts. I don't look back on that time with particular fondness, but Carl and a few others were the true bright spots. He taught me the value of being kind, especially when you don't have to be. I always knew I could count on him for a word of encouragement and a helping hand, and I praise the Lord that he is safe in Heaven with Him.

I hope the family knows that many of us will miss him very much, and that his positive impact on us did not go unnoticed.

Carl was the best pastor I’ve ever had. My years at Trinity under his pastoring grew me as a Christian and taught me to love God’s Word. He was so gifted in his teaching and always kind to us. I am so glad he is finally receiving his rewards in heaven, of which I expect are many. Can’t wait to see him again whole and complete one day. Cathy, I will be out of town for the service, but will watch the recording and hope to check in when things settle down for you guys. Love and peace and healing to you and your sweet kids. I love each one of you very much!

God gave me the blessing of meeting Pastor Carl on my path at Trinity Fellowship Church. . A man of God dedicated to his church, family and community. I remember the day my daughter was born, he was the first visit she had in the hospital and when she was three months old, Pastor Carl presented her to God at church as a "thank you "since my pregnancy was complicated. That day he gave her her first bible. My husband, daughter and I are going to miss him but we know that he is in a beautiful place with God. Thank you for being a part of our lives. The Mcmanus' family always will remember him.

It is with great Joy that while in Dallas I along with my husband Carl Wiemers had a very close relationship with Carl and Cathy along with being taught under the ministry of Carl at Trinity Fellowship. A long with being an incredible man of God he had a sense of humor and a huge smile that will always be remembered. Cathy we will talk soon, but know the memories we have are greatly cherished and Carl will be missed.
