Carl D. Atkins was born July 27, 1940 in Tulsa, OK. He passed away on April 10, 2016 in Plano, TX. He was 75 years of age. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Janice Atkins, and numerous other family and friends. Carl’s funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3:00 PM. There will be a short procession, following the service, to the Garden of Whispering Waters at Restland Memorial Park for the committal service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park. 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
