We at Uhaul downtown Garland are very saddened to hear of the passing of we called a great man, Carl Looney. He was a man of God, who practiced what he preached. Me (Sonny), Ricky, Richard Lupe and Ms. Towanna and Toya send warm thoughts to those who knew this great man. He will be missed.

Uncle Carl forever will be remembered by many. He was a man with an open heart and arms for all. His smile and words could touch your soul. He never passed judgement on anyone. One of most greatest earthly angel you could have never met. Now he an angel of God and will continue to touch many from above and watch over his family. I send my love to the Looney family

Every Year we would come to his church for easter. It’s been family tradition for over 8 years. He always been a great uncle to me and it saddens my heart to know I couldn’t see him on Easter this year. I know he is somewhere better. I am praying for our family and may God continue to bless us💕

Pastor Looney always made sure the doors of the church were open to all families who needed a facility to memorialize loved ones. Out of the many churches and pastors we called to check availability, Pastor looney never turned us away nor did he ask for money. When I did offer to compensate the church, he would always say, " whatever God lays on your heart." Thats enough said about the heart of Gods servant.
Bishop & I will forever remember Pastor Looney. He wasone of first pastors to welcome us in Texas. We will cherish our breakfast fellowships and his passion for Worship. A great friend he has been to my family and our church.
