Carl Edward Looney's Obituary
Carl was born is Pine Bluff Arkansas on October 28th, 1954, to parents Prentis and Lois Looney. Carl had five siblings three brothers Theodis, Michael, and Tony two sisters Shirley and Linda. Carl moved to Dallas where he met his beautiful wife Maurene Edwards, they were married on October 11, 1974.
In 1983 Carl founded and pastored the GMDT Family church in Garland, Texas. He had the heart of Christ, and his vision was to help bring Gods light to the world.
Carl leaves to celebrate his life his children, daughters Martisha, Deshon, Dinetta, Ladonna, Stephanie, sons Derrick, Carl Jr., Nathan, Andre, 19 grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Shirley, three brothers Theodis, Michael, Tony, as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.
Carl was predeceased by parents Prentis and Lois, his sister Linda, his beautiful loving wife Maurene and daughter Tonya.
In honor of Carl’s wishes no formal services will be held.
