Tito Mel was one of the kindest, warmest, loving and happy human beings I ever knew. He was always there and took me in as his own. Not only was he my uncle, Godfather, but he was like a father figure in my life. He taught me to be better, even without saying a word. He did it by example. He taught me how to be a better man, husband and father. He was and is one of the Hero's in my life.Tito Mel and Tita Marietta, went out of their way and flew to the Philippines to be in my wedding to represent my family.I will always remember that and the countless little things he did to love my wife and all my children. I'll always remember how he would not ever leave the side of Tita Marietta to the end. Even though he was fatigued, he would be seated by her bedside slumped over and asleep, but always at her side. For selfish reasons, he will be missed. But we know his mission on earth was accomplished and completed. We now he is in Eternal Happiness reunited with the Love of His Life and with James. We also know he is living in the Eternal Mansions above with Heavenly Father and our Savior. That is the memory and comfort he would want us and his family to remember!
