You asked to live your life without me and it was the only thing I could do to make your life better. But I never forgot you and I've always loved you and my life was never better without you. And now I feel something valuable is missing from the cosmos. I hope your life was all you wanted it to be and filled with love and joy. It appears that we will be reunited before too long–make a place for me, Sister, I will see you again at last.
As the holidays approach, I think of you even more… and still miss you each and every day. God Bless you, Susan
Ms. Chisholm was a great teacher that has touched many lives. I know this because she has touched my daughters life. My daughter would come home almost every night repeating something Ms. Chisholm had said to the kids in class. The phrase that I remember the most is…that's a big No, No. I would see Ms. Chisholm every day at lunch with a big smile helping her students get through the lunch line. It was evident that she loved her students and they loved her too. I am very glad that my daughter was able to have such a wonderful first year at school experience with such a great and loving teacher. We will all miss a great teacher and an excellent co-worker.
Frank, JP, and William, your mom loved you all so much. She was very proud of each of you. At Bonham, we heard all about what you three were up to. Your mom was always smiling. Her past students (two of whom were my granddaughters) best remember her hugs. My prayers are with you all. Please let her friends at Bonham know if you need anything. We are here for you. Ms Chisholm were a very special person here at Bonham, she would always pass by my clinic with a smile or she would just come by to check her weight or just to get to know me, finally she did one day. We started talking and we had more than one thing in common ,we had three boys and we loved traveling, glamorous jewelry and her beautiful smile would just light up the room, whenever she came by the clinic. To me we were best friends in a world that was always passing us by so fast, but whenever we got together I felt like we should have growing up or had time to really got together or best friends forever… P/S I'm really going to miss you, but one day we will get together again
Many years ago, I finalized my divorce and was facing the reality of becoming a single mom. Carolyn, in her usual sweetness and tenderness, told me her own story, and it offered me great comfort. She admitted that yes, it will be difficult and very trying at times, but in the end, it is worth — YOU are worth — every bit of it. She told me that the relationship she has with her three sons was the most special thing in the world to her. Boys, she loved you so much and cherished your closeness. You lit up her life! She was very proud of all of you. Please know that your mother will be missed by all of her Bonham colleagues, and we hold you three in our thoughts and prayers.
